Responsibilities:

As a Senior Python Backend Developer at CYNC, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems that power our cybersecurity solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing scalable and high-performance backend applications using Python.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and data scientists, to build robust and efficient data processing pipelines.
  • Implementing solutions for big data storage, processing, and analysis.
  • Leading the design and development of data-driven applications and services.
  • Mentoring junior developers and actively participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and trends in big data, data engineering, and data science.

 

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
  • Proven expertise in big data technologies, data engineering, and data science.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar.
  • Proficiency in working with distributed systems and cloud platforms.

 

Must-Haves:

  • Extensive experience in Python programming for backend development.
  • In-depth knowledge of big data frameworks (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark) and data processing techniques.
  • Expertise in designing and optimizing data storage and retrieval systems.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and integration of data science models into backend systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
